The Essanay Café features Wine Country Cuisine in a relaxed intimate bistro style setting steeped in the history of the silent film era that Charlie Chaplin, Broncho Billy and others brought to the Main Street of Niles.

Executive Chef Matthew Close has been cooking professionally for five years. He worked his way up to line cook at both The Flying Martini Bros. Bistro and 71 St. Peter Mediterranean Grill. He was promoted to Sous Chef at The Firehouse Grill in San Jose and The Little Engine Catering Co. His promotion to Executive Chef is well deserved.

In addition to Evening Dining, Weekend Brunch features a selection of breakfast classics, plus gourmet Burgers, mouth-watering Sandwiches, and fresh Salads.
